Jonathan Brezel is the managing attorney at the Brezel Family Law, LLC. Mr. Brezel's practice focuses solely on family law issues, including cases involving divorce, custody, child support, legitimization, paternity, prenuptial agreements, temporary protective orders, post judgment enforcement, contempt, and modifications. As a domestic relations attorney, Mr. Brezel focuses on helping his clients through the most difficult times of their lives. Mr. Brezel strives to practice in an efficient and positive style, while still seeking to obtain the best result for his clients and their families. Mr. Brezel is often complimented by his clients for his approachable and calm demeanor; however, if necessary Mr. Brezel is more than willing to aggressively represent his client to achieve their desired goals.
Mr. Brezel grew up in Marietta, Georgia, where he attended George Walton Comprehensive High School. He attended the University of Florida, where he majored in Political Science and minored in Business Administration. After graduating from the University of Florida, Mr. Brezel returned home to Georgia to attend law school at Mercer University's Walter F. George School of Law in Macon, Georgia. While in law school, Mr. Brezel clerked for the Honorable Edgar Ennis at the Bibb County Superior Court. While clerking for Judge Ennis, Mr. Brezel observed a large number of domestic relations cases and obtained insight on how the judges and lawyers handle family law cases on a daily basis. After several years of working at highly rated family law firms, Mr. Brezel chose to open Brezel Family Law, LLC.
In 2016, 2017, 2018, and 2019, Mr. Brezel was named by Atlanta Magazine as a "Rising Star." His selection was based upon peer evaluations by other lawyers and judges throughout the state. Mr. Brezel also has a perfect 10.0 rating from AVVO.com. Mr. Brezel has served as the Co-Chair of Georgia Young Lawyer's Division Family Law Committee from 2015-2017. Mr. Brezel also served as a board member on the Family Law Executive Committee for the State of Georgia from 2015-2016.
Mr. Brezel has also spoken at continuing education seminars on various topics regarding Georgia laws pertaining to domestic relations issues.
When he is not practicing law, Jonathan lives in Brookhaven with his girlfriend and their three rescue dogs. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys watching sports, exercising, cooking, and traveling.
